A Study on the Pyramidalis of Korean infants

Abstract
|
|
|
The authors studied some anatomical observation of the Pyramidalis of the Korean infants (male 26, female 63) and obtained following conclusions from post-mortem examination.
1. The size of the Pyramidalis

The length of the lateral border 89 1 30.46-±0.74mm

2. In sex difference concerning size of the Pyramidalis the male group showed slightly well
development in comparison with the female.
3. The Pyramidalis of the right side supersedes in development that of the left.
4. The Pyramidalis of the infant was observed as about 1 /2 smaller in size than that of the adult.
5. Of 90 cases one showed the absence of the Pyramidalis.
